This program will focus on the changing landscape of retailing and e-tailing in the economy. The program will begin with a walking tour of the Amazon Fulfillment Center and a question and answer session with Amazon staff. Following the tour, we will discuss the economics in action observed during the tour and translate those into lessons for the classroom focusing on consumer confidence, supply and demand, economic growth, and trade.

RSVP required and space for this program is limited to 25 classroom educators. Lunch will be provided.
This workshop and the accompanying materials are made partially available to teachers through the generous support of State Farm and the Council for Economic Education.
