Biography

Brad Oxnam is currently Lecturer of Theatre for MTSU's Department of Speech & Theatre, having joined the faculty in 2007 as an adjunct instructor. Brad earned his Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi, and his BA in Speech Communication from Delta State University. Brad Oxnam is currently Lecturer of Theatre for MTSU's Department of Speech & Theatre, having joined the faculty in 2007 as an adjunct instructor. Brad earned his Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi, and his BA in Speech Communication from Delta State University. As an actor, he has performed with Actor's Bridge Ensemble, Blackbird Theatre Company, Boiler Room Theatre, Carey Dinner Theatre, Community Spirit, People's Branch Theatre, Southern Arena Theatre, Street Theatre Company, Tennessee Women's Theatre Project, and the Theatre Ensemble of Nashville. Brad has also served as fight choreographer to several local productions. As an educator, Brad has taught classes and given workshops for MTSU, Nashville Shakespeare Festival, Nashville School of the Arts, Street Theatre Company, & the Southeastern Theatre Conference; as well as acting as a respondent for the Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival. He is a proud member of the Society of American Fight Directors, the Association of Theatre Movement Educators, and Alpha Psi Omega National Theatre Honor Society.
