Biography
Matt Lund is a guitarist, composer, and educator. Lund received a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Kalamazoo College in Michigan and a Master of Arts in Jazz Studies from Middle Tennessee State University. Read More »Matt Lund is a guitarist, composer, and educator. Lund received a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Kalamazoo College in Michigan and a Master of Arts in Jazz Studies from Middle Tennessee State University. He has studied, performed, and recorded with many acclaimed musicians and is currently active in various groups including Rescued Souls, a modern rock band that features Lund's vocals, guitar playing, and songwriting, Axe Of God, an instrumental progressive rock and metal project, The Time Raiders, a classic pop/rock/dance cover band, and The Lund McVey Group, which performs his original jazz and fusion compositions. Lund teaches Introduction to Music and Jazz Guitar Private Instruction, and directs the Commercial Music Ensembles.
