Sandra K. Arndt enjoys a diverse career as a piano performer, teacher, and accompanist. In Fall 2002, she joined Middle Tennessee State University as an Adjunct Professor of Music and Piano. Arndt frequently collaborates with school of music faculty, other performing artists, and students around the country for recitals, competitions, and other performances. In 1999, she won a position with the Milwaukee Ballet as Company Pianist.

For three seasons Arndt held the piano/keyboard position with the National Repertory Orchestra and was featured as a soloist, performing concertos by Shostakovich, Bach, and Ravel. Beginning in July 2003, she made her debut as pianist with the Breckenridge Music Festival Orchestra. She was featured playing The Four Seasons of Astor Piazzola, as well as the Fantasia for Piano, Chorus, and Orchestra of Beethoven. Her summer festival engagements also include numerous classical chamber music concerts with professional musicians from throughout the country.

Arndt performed as pianist for masterclasses and recitals for the 2005 International Trumpet Guild Conference in Bangkok, Thailand and has been invited to participate once again in the 2006 ITG Conference in Glassboro, New Jersey. Being a strong advocate of contemporary music, Arndt frequently collaborates with wind ensembles and other mixed chamber groups including the Stones River Chamber Players, with whom she is heard live on Nashville Public Radio. Her baccalaureate collegiate studies were with Ruth-Anne Rich at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and graduate studies followed at the University of Minnesota with Lydia Artymiw.
