Veronica Edwards Douglas is an adjunct faculty member at Middle Tennessee State University's MTSU School of Music where she teaches class piano. She attended Middle Tennessee State University completing a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance and her Master of Arts degree in piano performance. Veronica Edwards Douglas is an adjunct faculty member at Middle Tennessee State University's MTSU School of Music where she teaches class piano. She attended Middle Tennessee State University completing a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance and her Master of Arts degree in piano performance. As a graduate teaching assistant, she taught applied piano lessons and class piano. For the past twenty years, Douglas has conducted a successful and active piano studio, with students receiving honorable mention and superior ratings in the TMTA auditions and Clavierfest as well as other competitions. She is a member of the Middle Tennessee Music Teachers Association previously holding offices of president, secretary, handbook chairperson and Accreditation. She is the head chairperson of the National Guild of Piano Teachers, of the Murfreesboro area, which is the Teacher Division of American College of Musicians. Douglas is a member and elder of Christiana Presbyterian Church serving as church musician for the past eighteen years and worship chair for six years. Douglas has taught in the Murfreesboro City School system through the Extended School Program for six years, as well as the University of the South for five years. Douglas is married to Todd Douglas of Douglas Organ Company and they reside in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
