More Details

When faculty writing groups work well, they can facilitate a generative, supportive community and help writers meet their goals; however, when they don’t work, they can become a barrier to writing goals. Whether you have experience working in a writing group or have no experience and are curious to know how and why they work, this workshop is for you. Our goals for this hour-long workshop are threefold:

1. Understand how writing groups can serve your writing goals;

2. Identify the variety of ways writing groups can function;

3. Connect with fellow faculty to form groups.

We are particularly excited to offer this workshop to new faculty members to support their writing goals at MTSU.
