Becoming a Blue Raider

MTSU’s Online programs have the same admissions requirements as on-campus programs. Students interested in applying for admission to an undergraduate program can find out more about the requirements on the How to Apply website.

Students interested in applying for admission to a graduate program can find requirements on the College of Graduate Studies Future Students website.

Application Deadlines

Application deadlines for undergraduate first-time freshmen, transfer students, former MTSU students, non-degree seeking students and graduate students are located on the Admissions website.

Do I have to be a Tennessee resident to apply to MTSU Online?

No, you do not.  Students can be located almost anywhere in the U.S. and complete their degrees via MTSU Online.  The only exceptions are Florida and California which have not yet signed on to the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA).  State and federal laws require colleges and universities to be authorized to offer online degree programs in states other than their own.
