Visit MTSU: On-Campus or Virtual

We are so excited you are considering MTSU! It is important that you can see yourself on campus, and our Blue Elite are here to help you learn more about all the opportunities available to you at MTSU. Whether you can join us on campus or need virtual options, we are here to help you learn about what it means to be TRUE BLUE!

Looking to visit our beautiful campus? We offer a variety of ways you can explore Middle Tennessee State University. Check out the options below to find the best fit for you!

Things to Remember when coming to campus:

Arrive Early

Be respectful of other guests. If you are late, your visit could be cut short.

Allow Plenty of Time

Your campus tour should last approximately two (2) hours.

Rain or Shine

Daily campus visits continue even when the weather changes.

Parking Pass

Bring your tour confirmation email and leave it on your vehicle dashboard or pick up a parking pass from the information desk in the Student Services and Admissions Center before your tour. If you receive a parking ticket while you are part of a Daily Campus Visit, please call 615-898-5670.

Departmental Tours

If you would like to meet with an academic department on campus to learn more about your program and the resources they offer, please reach out to the department ahead of time using our Academic Programs page and going to their “Contact Information” tab.


Campus Tour

Guided Campus Tours

Led by one of our Blue Elite tour guides, campus visits to MTSU include an information session, a walking tour of campus (including housing), and an opportunity to speak with one of our admissions representatives at the end of your campus tour.

If you are a prospective graduate student interested in scheduling a tour, please contact Graduate Studies at 615-898-2840.

Registration for tours in July will open on June 5th.


Academic Classroom Building

Special Group Tours

Bring your school or organization to tour campus and learn more about MTSU!

Special Group Tours are for groups of 8 to 100 students and will include a walking tour of the MTSU campus that will last approximately 75-90 minutes. If you have a group of more than 100, please call 615-898-5807. 

During the summer semester, group tours will be limited to 50 attendees.

Self-Guided Tour

Visitors are welcome on our campus Monday through Friday between 8 AM & 4:30 PM. Self-guided tours begin at the Info Desk of the Student Services & Admissions Center (SSAC). Graduate student self-guided tours begin at the College of Graduate Studies at the Sam Ingram Building,1st Floor, at 2269 Middle Tennessee Blvd.       

Don’t worry if you can’t make it to MTSU for a Guided Campus Tour, we have many virtual opportunities for you and your family to explore and learn more about Middle Tennessee State University.

MT One Stop 

Meet with an enrollment coordinator to discuss financial aid, registration, tuition, billing, scheduling, and more. The MT One Stop is conveniently located on the second floor of the Student Services & Admissions Services building (SSAC).
