Distance Education and NonTraditional Programs

Overview

The Distance Education & Nontraditional Programs division of University College meets the unique needs of students whose access to higher education is often limited by family, work, and other responsibilities by:

  • removing barriers of time, place, and tradition;
  • supporting faculty who deliver course content and degree programs in innovative ways; and
  • fostering a student-centered learning environment to promote the success of nontraditional students.

Through the collaboration of many campus resources, we are able to better serve nontraditional and adult learners, by offering a variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programs, with the option of taking courses online, on-campus or a combination of both. We also provide helpful resources and tools for students and faculty to ensure academic success.
