Student Support Services

June Anderson Center for Women and Nontraditional Students
The June Anderson Center for Women and Nontraditional Students provides services (computers and study carrels, scholarship opportunities, and much more) to meet the needs of MTSU students, regardless of age, who have major life responsibilities outside of the campus.

Campus Events
As a distance learner, we invite you to partake in some of the exciting campus events. Events include concerts, full-length feature films at the KUC theatre (feel free to bring your family), an MTSU student film festival, fine art performances, thought provoking lectures, and other exciting events. For a look at upcoming events, see the Student Events Calendar.

Counseling Services
This office offers personal counseling, assisting students in their emotional, intellectual and social growth. Students are provided with assistance in making life decisions in a non-judgmental and confidential environment. Balancing life can be a challenge for anyone. If you are experiencing depression, anxiety, eating disorder, or alcohol or drug problems, Counseling Services can be of assistance to you.

Disabled Student Services - This office offers a wide variety of services to students with disabilities including assisting in registration, providing readers, maintaining an inventory of auxiliary aids, offering testing accommodations, providing access to the latest in adaptive computer technologies, and acting as liaison to University departments.

Evening Services
The Evening School Office, located in Kirksey Old Main 126, is open extended hours during the week and Saturdays. This office provides student parking permits and IDs.

Military / Veteran Services
The purpose of the MTSU Veterans Student Center is to create and institute a variety of innovative programs to effectively promote access to and success in higher education at MTSU, and to assist veteran students with much needed career counseling and placement.

MTSU Email Account
All MTSU students have an email account. It is important you check yours regularly as many campus offices communicate through email. You may access your email account by logging in to Pipeline and clicking on the email icon.

Student IDs
A student ID allows current students access to the Recreation Center, athletic events, and the ability to check out a book from the MTSU Walker Library. NOTE: If you are only enrolled in RODP classes, there is a $25 charge to obtain a valid student ID for the semester. Additional information about ID Cards for distance students is available through the Evening School office.

Student Involvement
The Blue Raider family invites you to get the most out of your experience at MTSU! It's important that you take the initiative to explore all that MTSU has to offer you. Examine new philosophies, meet people from new cultures and backgrounds, and explore new interests and activities. The Center for Student Involvement & Leadership is the place for students to begin their search for involvement opportunities. Student organizations, leadership development, Greek life, multicultural and diversity programming, and community service are just some of the programs offered through this department.

Parking Decals
A parking decal is required for students who park on campus and is issued once registration fees have been paid.
