Hiring Adjuncts

EPAF and Workflow training must be completed first. Calendar of training dates can be found here

No reservations needed. 

New Adjuncts

Step 1- Complete HR hiring verfication in Workflow. **** Note- DO NOT proceed to step #2 until you have received confirmation from HR that the employee is eligible to work.****

Step 2- Complete hiring checklist and foward to Dean's Office for signature.

Step 3-  Initiate background check form by submitting to Lynn Sewak at Lynn.Sewak@mtsu.edu.

Step 4- Adjunts do not pay for a parking permit, please send an email to the adjunct directing them to a dynamic form.  

Step 5- In Banner, check SIAINST to see if adjunct is active. If not, when notified (by Lynn Sewak) activate part-time worker in Workflow. Don't have access to Activate Part-time Faculty workflow, notify your Chair.

Step 6- In Banner, attach to classes on SIAASGN.


Returning Adjuncts

Each semester complete an EPAF and APC form.
