Stephanie Clift-Bourgault
Director, Child Development Center
Mrs. Clift-Bourgault (Mrs. Stephanie) has over 10 years of experience working in the early childhood field. She has worked as an infant/toddler teacher, a child development trainer and a center director for the Department of Defense. She has a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Vanguard University in California and a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Walden University online. Mrs. Stephanie serves as the director over the Child Development Center and ensures the day to day functions of the center run smoothly. Mrs. Stephanie and her husband just recently moved to Tennessee and are enjoying their time in their new home with their dogs.
Shalonda Burgess
Lead teacher/Mentor, Preschool
Mrs. Burgess (Mrs. Shalonda) has worked in the subject of Early Childhood, predominately preschool for over 20 years. She acquired her education from MTSU with a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education and a Masters of Art in Teaching (K-6th) from Trevecca Nazarene University. She has teaching experience from infancy through preschool. She has taught at Head Start and private institutions. She serves as a model/mentor to MTSU students enrolled in CDFS 4383 as a lead teacher in the Preschool Program. She counsels MTSU students throughout the semester in developmentally appropriate practices and professional teaching methods. Mrs. Shalonda enjoys life, love and laughter with her husband and two teenage sons.
