In 2021, she earned her doctorate in history from the George Washington University. Her book, "When She Remembered: Seven Women Who Transformed French Holocaust Memory," examines a cohort of influential women, from well-known figures such as Simone Veil to memory activist Sabine Zlatin, and their work to shape the production of Holocaust memory from 1945 to the present. Her next project will examine the evolution of Holocaust memory in France, focused on the national site of remembrance known as the Maison d'Izieu.
