Credits also include pioneering work for interactive platforms such as TiVo, AOL, and ABC.com, hundreds of main titles for television and film including ER, Nature, The West Wing, and Groundhog Day. Also known for work in the field of educational media. Directed the design and production of algebra’scool, a breakthrough interactive DVD product to teach high school algebra. Worked at Lynda.com as VP of Content and Production as well as executive producer of the Creative Inspirations series of documentary films about top creative professionals. Inventor of the ZOOOOS Interactive Video System.
Joined the MTSU faculty as Chair of Department of Media Arts in 2011 after serving on the Board of Visitors of the College of Media and Entertainment for six years. Since joining the faculty, efforts have focused on improving student success through changes in curriculum, the establishment of freestanding degrees, changes in accreditation, greater student access to facilities and technology, improvements to facilities, access to online classes and software training, and improvements to curriculum-related extracurricular activities. Stepped down as chair in 2022 to focus on teching, development of MTSU's new virtual production facilities, and industry relations for the Department of Media Arts.
Served on numerous boards including PROMAX, Broadcast Designers Association (BDA), the Board of Visitors for MTSU’s College of Media and Entertainment, and the Advisory Board of Best Buddies California, a non-profit organization that creates friendship and job opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
