Biography
Carlos has been actively involved in the aviation industry now for 17 years. He began his career as a line service technician at John C. Tune Airport. While there, he was able to foster a joy for the field of aviation. Carlos holds his rating as a licensed Airframe and Powerplant technician. Read More »Carlos has been actively involved in the aviation industry now for 17 years. He began his career as a line service technician at John C. Tune Airport. While there, he was able to foster a joy for the field of aviation. Carlos holds his rating as a licensed Airframe and Powerplant technician. After receiving his A&P, Carlos began working at Embraer Aircraft Maintenance Services located in Nashville, TN. Prior to coming to the MTSU Aerospace department, Carlos taught as a lab instructor at Tennessee Technology Center at Nashville and an aviation maintenance instructor at McGavock High School. He has since been teaching in the Maintenance Management program at MTSU and acts as the advisor for the MTSU Aerospace MX Club. Carlos is currently a tenure-track faculty who inspires to become a full-time tenured employee.
