I'm a full professor in the Information Systems & Analytics (ISA) Department at MTSU. My M.S. and Ph.D. (Information Systems major; Accounting and Industrial Organization minors) are from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. My undergraduate degrees, A.A. and B.S. (accounting), are from Saint Catherine College, KY, and Campbellsville College, KY, respectively.

I teach INFS 6700 ITPM: Strategies for Success, the required IT project management course for the M.S. degrees in ISA, and INFS 3800 Information Systems Analysis and Design, required for the ISA undergraduate degrees. IT project management and systems analysis and design/business analysis are my teaching passions.

My most recent research projects are in the areas of agile job skills and the IT business analyst job market. My publication interests include IT job skills, emotional intelligence in IT, project management, curriculum related issues in project management, information systems naming conventions in academia and industry, ergonomics, and cybersecurity.

My hometown is Springfield, KY. I currently live in Murfreesboro, TN.

My hobbies include community theatre, drawing, and travelling. I have been on stage for several shows, e.g., The Who's Tommy, Addams Family, Young Frankenstein, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and have worked back stage as stage manager, crew, and costumer.

I enjoy sketching, acrylic painting, and watercolor painting.

I love seeing shows on Broadway. I'm well overdue for a weekend in New York. I've mainly travelled to Florida and California the last couple of years. The beach is my relaxing place, especially Santa Rosa Beach, FL. San Francisco is amazing; I visit there often. Yes, I'm a warm weather fan! I love summer! It's been awhile since my last trips to Europe, e.g., England (London), France (Paris and Normandy region), Italy (Rome), Germany, Czech Republic (Prague), Vatican City, the Netherlands (Amsterdam); Spain and Portugal are still on my list to visit. Tokyo was one of my favorite cities to spend time in.

And I'm a cat person! I have a ragdoll cat named Belle.
