Dr. Christine D. Lewis is an Assistant Professor of Professional Counseling at Middle Tennessee State University and a counselor educator specializing in professional school counseling. Read More »Dr. Christine D. Lewis is an Assistant Professor of Professional Counseling at Middle Tennessee State University and a counselor educator specializing in professional school counseling. Her scholarship focuses on school counselor preparation and practice, trauma-informed and restorative practices, and supporting students with disabilities through inclusive and collaborative school counseling. A former professional school counselor and school administrator, Dr. Lewis brings extensive K–12 experience to her teaching, research, and service. Her work emphasizes strengthening school counselor practice, fostering effective school–family–administrator partnerships, and preparing counselors to advocate for the academic, social-emotional, and career development of all students.
