Biography
A native of Murfreesboro, TN, Courtney worked as an undergraduate student athletic trainer at the University of Tennessee, traveling with football and working with the rehabilitation of athletes from all men’s sports. She later worked as an athletic trainer in a PRN setting while attending Belmont University School of Physical Therapy. Read More »A native of Murfreesboro, TN, Courtney worked as an undergraduate student athletic trainer at the University of Tennessee, traveling with football and working with the rehabilitation of athletes from all men’s sports. She later worked as an athletic trainer in a PRN setting while attending Belmont University School of Physical Therapy. Since graduating from Belmont University in 2007, Courtney has worked as a physical therapist in outpatient orthopedics, with the last eight years spent in clinical leadership roles. She has supervised student internships and clinical rotations from various undergraduate and physical therapy programs and has served as an adjunct instructor at MTSU since 2016. She resides in Murfreesboro with her husband and 2 children and enjoys watching them participate in youth sports and volunteering for various community organizations.
