Biography
Craig Anderson began his career in television news in 2014 as an assignment editor, after earning his undergraduate degree in Mass Communication from the University of Jamestown in North Dakota.
He first worked at WSPA-TV in upstate South Carolina, then pursued a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of South Carolina. This education afforded him the opportunity to study at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University from 2018-2020.

He first worked at WSPA-TV in upstate South Carolina, then pursued a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of South Carolina. This education afforded him the opportunity to study at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University from 2018-2020.
Craig returned to the Nashville area in 2020 where his partner had recently begun work at a local news station. While continuing his education, he shared his expertise in journalism by teaching Media Writing and Digital Media Skills at Middle Tennessee State University from 2020 to 2022.
In the summer of 2022, Craig joined Nashville’s NewsChannel 5 (WTVF) as an assignment editor and digital content producer.
