Biography

Dr. J. Brandon Wallace is Professor of Sociology, Director of Aging Studies, and Chair of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology. Dr. Wallace has been teaching in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at MTSU for almost 30 years and has served as chair for the past 6 years. He primarily teaches courses in introductory sociology, social problems, research methods, statistics, aging and family. His scholarly interests center around aging and the elderly, especially as they relate to aging families, caregiving, health care, and the physical and mental well-being of aging individuals.
