James Hanson has more than 25 years of experience in marketing, media buying, and data-driven customer acquisition, working his way up from an entry-level inbound phone rep at a Rochester, NY print and fulfillment company to running marketing and media strategy for national brands.

Along the way he's led media buying and direct response programs at Catalyst Marketing, served as a product owner at Affinion Group, and served as Vice President of Marketing for both Franklin American Mortgage Company and Fortera Credit Union.

James's passion is turning data into strategy. He loves how characters in a dataset can reveal the true character of a target audience. He enjoys figuring out which customers matter most, which channels reach them, and which dollar of media spend actually moves the needle. That combination of curiosity and analytics led him to co-found Current Marketing Solutions with his business partner in 2020.

As Chief Operating Officer, James leads operations, strategy, and analytics for the firm. They then launched a second company, T3 Account Acquisitions, a profitability and prospect-targeting platform built for credit unions and community banks, in 2026.

James holds a B.S. in History with a minor in English from the State University of New York at Brockport and an MBA with a focus on Executive Leadership from St. John Fisher University in Pittsford, NY. He has been married for over 25 years and lives in Franklin, TN with two sons and two pugs. He is an Eagle Scout and has wasted over 30 years playing in punk rock bands as an unpaid side-hustle.
