Biography

Jon Huddleston is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Concrete Industry Management (CIM) at Middle Tennessee State University. He previously instructed students and conducted research for the CIM department, as the Lab Manager, from 2007 to 2014. Jon Huddleston is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Concrete Industry Management (CIM) at Middle Tennessee State University. He previously instructed students and conducted research for the CIM department, as the Lab Manager, from 2007 to 2014. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Middle Tennessee State University in Concrete Industry Management in the spring of 2006, and received his Master of Business Administration degree in 2009 from Middle Tennessee State University.

Mr. Huddleston currently teaches CIM courses at the junior and senior level which include: Concrete Construction Methods, Understanding Concrete Construction, Concrete Industry Internship, Management of Concrete Production-Facilities/Ordering, Management of Concrete-Cement, Senior Concrete Lab, and Production Sales and Service Capstone. He has been involved in numerous industry field studies and research grants for the Tennessee Department of Transportation. His current research includes pozzolanic materials and their effects on concrete properties and performance, and the use of microfiber treatment with fiber strand fibrillation in concrete.

Mr. Huddleston lives in Woodbury Tennessee with his wife Britan, who is a third grade teacher at Cannon County Middle School, and their daughters, Madison and Ensley.
