Biography

 Junlin Ou received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China, in 2016 and 2019, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC, USA, in 2023. His research interests include real-time path planning, GPU/edge computing, machine learning, computer vision, robotics, and autonomous systems.  Junlin Ou received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China, in 2016 and 2019, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC, USA, in 2023. His research interests include real-time path planning, GPU/edge computing, machine learning, computer vision, robotics, and autonomous systems. He has published papers in prestigious journals and conferences, including Applied Soft Computing, Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics and Engineering, Engineering with Computers, Nano Letters, and Journal of Intelligent & Robotic Systems. In addition to his research and scholarly contributions, Dr. Ou actively serves the academic community as a reviewer for several prestigious journals and conferences, including ISA Transactions, Ocean Engineering, Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Humanized Computing, Journal of Automobile Engineering, Journal of Engineering Manufacture, and The Journal of Supercomputing. He is also an editor of Computers and Artificial Intelligence. Throughout his academic career, Dr. Ou has received multiple award nominations in recognition of his outstanding scholarly achievements and research contributions.
