Research / Scholarly Activity
Kahler's research has focused primarily on public health capacity research and the impacts disasters have on communities. His work has been built on his local epidemiology experiences where he ties his epidemiologic work to local health department needs when possible. Spatial analysis and community assessment are two areas of interest within the larger framework on public health capacity and disaster epidemiology that Kahler has been involved with.
