Ken Blake, associate professor of journalism, earned his Ph.D. in Mass Communication in 1997 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He teaches courses in writing, reporting, data journalism, and empirical media theory. A former newspaper reporter, he earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in journalism at Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va.
