Biography

Dr. Rudd is a quilter and fiber artist and is interested in all aspects of cultural arts. Her research interests include incorporating fabrics into teaching design fundamentals, the effect of design problem solving on individual problem solving abilities, teaching multi-cultural education through traditional fibers arts and sustainability and social responsibility in design. Another area on interest includes textile dyeing and fermentation.
