Biography
LeAnne Hennessy recieved her Masters here at MTSU. While studying at Georgia State in Altanta, her specialty was Nineteenth Century American literature and her secondary area of concentration Victorian literature. She is currently teaching freshmen level composition courses, focusing on the writing needs of students at various levels; she also teaches world literature. Read More »LeAnne Hennessy recieved her Masters here at MTSU. While studying at Georgia State in Altanta, her specialty was Nineteenth Century American literature and her secondary area of concentration Victorian literature. She is currently teaching freshmen level composition courses, focusing on the writing needs of students at various levels; she also teaches world literature. LeAnne has presented papers at the Women's Studies Conference and the New Voices conference. She has also instructed various workshops at MTSU and Georgia State and been published as an editorial assistant. Most recently, she has contributed an entry to the American History Through Literature: 1820-1870 encyclopedia series and received an Outstanding Teaching Award from the English Department's Lower Division. LeAnne has been teaching English at the university level for the past 18+ years.
