Research / Scholarly Activity
My research interests primarily focus on the examination of communication in health and interpersonal contexts. Specifically, I focus on weight/obesity stigma in interpersonal (e.g., dating and family), religious, and health interactions. To study these phenomena, I use mixed methods, incorporating survey methods, content analysis, and qualitative interviewing.
