She also serves as Professor of User Services and Science Librarian at James E. Walker Library, MTSU, providing specialized support in collection development, bibliometrics, scholarly communication, electronic resources, and information literacy for STEM disciplines. A major focus of her work is building regional research computing infrastructure and training opportunities. Through collaborations with statewide partners, she has helped establish a Tennessee research computing and data initiative that addresses challenges in shared resources, training, and education in advanced computing. Recent work related to improving global equity in scholarly access includes research as a Fulbright U.S. Scholar in Rwanda, focusing on scientific resource access and knowledge sharing for conservation. She is continuing this work as an advocate for Research4Life, presenting on networks, equity, and academic alliances, while exploring biodiversity grey literature from Central Africa and global disparities in science-related research.
Her undergraduate degree in Philosophy focused on logic, ethics, and epistemology, and her graduate degree in Library and Information Science focused on library administration, organization of information, archives, and library reference and instruction services.
