Biography
Mary Magada-Ward received her B.A. in Philosophy from Bowling Green State University and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Philosophy from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Her primary interests are the pragmaticism of Charles Sanders Peirce and feminist science scholarship. She has published articles in the Journal of Speculative Philosophy, Contemporary Pragmatism, Southwest Philosophy Review, Metaphilosophy, and The Encyclopedia of American Philosophy and has served as a reviewer for Hypatia...

Her primary interests are the pragmaticism of Charles Sanders Peirce and feminist science scholarship. She has published articles in the Journal of Speculative Philosophy, Contemporary Pragmatism, Southwest Philosophy Review, Metaphilosophy, and The Encyclopedia of American Philosophy and has served as a reviewer for Hypatia, Fordham University Press, and Indiana University Press. She was an officer of the Society for the Advancement of American Philosophy and is currently president of the June S. Anderson Foundation.
