Michael A. Erskine is an Associate Professor and Assistant Dean of Research at the Jones College of Business at Middle Tennessee State University. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Information Systems from the University of Colorado Denver. He teaches strategic cybersecurity management, location analytics, web development, and IT project management. His research interests include effective IT project governance, strategic cybersecurity, the influence of emerging technology on society, IT workforce trends, and decision-making using geospatial data. Michael’s research has been presented at numerous international, national, and regional conferences. His work has also been published in several journals, including Information Systems Journal, Communications of the Association for Information Systems, AIS Transactions on Human-Computer Interaction, The DATABASE for Advances in Information Systems, Behaviour & Information Technology, Information Systems Frontiers, International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction, Computers in Human Behavior, Journal of Consumer Marketing, and Journal of Computer Information Systems.
