Biography

Dr. Faezipour is an Assistant Professor in the Engineering Technology Department at Middle Tennessee State University. Dr. Faezipour is an Assistant Professor in the Engineering Technology Department at Middle Tennessee State University. Prior to joining MTSU, she has been a Visiting Researcher and Instructor at University of Bridgeport, CT, collaborating with the Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering programs. Dr. Faezipour received her Ph.D. and M.Sc. from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management. Her Bachelor’s degree is in Software Engineering. She has worked in the Systems Engineering Research Center at UTA on various research projects including development of process simulators for NASA and systems engineering Testbed for promoting education in systems engineering. Her research interests lie in the broad area of system dynamics modeling, complex systems, sustainability, product and process management optimization, and applications of systems engineering in various areas such as energy and healthcare systems. Dr. Faezipour is a member of INCOSE, IEEE, INFORMS, IISE, ASEM, and System Dynamics Society professional organizations and societies.
