Dr. Ning Wang received his Ph.D. in Design, Construction, and Planning from University of Florida in 2022. His dissertation was titled “Spoken Dialogue System for Information Extraction from Building Information Models Using Artificial Intelligence”. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Hebei University of Technology in 2013 and a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2014. His dissertation was titled “Spoken Dialogue System for Information Extraction from Building Information Models Using Artificial Intelligence”. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Hebei University of Technology in 2013 and a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2014. His research areas include Building Information Modeling (BIM), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Deep Learning, Automatic Speech Recognition, Construction Robotics, Geographic Information System (GIS), Software Development, and Construction Ontologies and Semantics. He has published many journal and conference papers in international publications. He has been active in numerous professional organizations in the construction industry, including American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
