Biography
Paul Mosey originally joined the Aerospace faculty at Middle Tennessee State University in 2003, as a temporary assistant professor. He assumed the position of Chief Flight Instructor/Flight Training Manager at the MTSU flight training center in 2006. He held that position until August 2021 when he rejoined the Aerospace faculty as an assistant professor. Read More »Paul Mosey originally joined the Aerospace faculty at Middle Tennessee State University in 2003, as a temporary assistant professor. He assumed the position of Chief Flight Instructor/Flight Training Manager at the MTSU flight training center in 2006. He held that position until August 2021 when he rejoined the Aerospace faculty as an assistant professor. Mr. Mosey holds both rotor and fixed wing Airline Transport Pilot licenses and is typed rated in CH-53, H206 and J3200 model aircraft. Mr. Mosey earned his undergraduate degree from Delaware Valley College, and a Masters of Aerospace Education from MTSU. Mr. Mosey was an American Connection regional airline captain for four years and is a former U.S Marine pilot and instructor, flying the CH-53 Sea Stallion and CH-57 Jet Ranger helicopters for 10 years. He is currently chair of the Aerospace department safety committe. He is also a coach for the MTSU flight and lacrosse teams, and an organizer of the Aerospace Veteran's Group.
