Biography

Dr. Salter joined the faculty of the Jones College of Business in August 2007.  At MTSU, he has taught courses in Personal Finance, Investments, Portfolio Management, Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis, and Financial Markets and Institutions.  A certified Dale Carnegie (R) trainer since January 2017, he also facilitates the Dale Carnegie Course at MTSU.  Prior to joining the faculty at MTSU, Dr. Salter served on the faculty of the College of Business at the University of Southern Mississippi.
