Research / Scholarly Activity
From 2013 to 2018, Mr. Babb actively researched Electronic Flight Bags. His previous experience using EFBs as a commercial pilot provided a solid foundation in which to build research projects. The primary research questions relate to EFBs and (1) the quality of primary flight education, (2) EFB practices at flight schools that are based upon air carrier policies, and (3) exposure to common EFB hardware/software during collegiate education and flight training.
