Biography

Wisarut Suwanprasert is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Jones College of Business at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), where he is also an affiliated faculty of the Political Economy Research Institute (PERI). Dr. Suwanprasert earned his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to joining MTSU, Dr. Suwanprasert was a visiting assistant professor at Vanderbilt University. Wisarut Suwanprasert is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Jones College of Business at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), where he is also an affiliated faculty of the Political Economy Research Institute (PERI). Dr. Suwanprasert earned his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to joining MTSU, Dr. Suwanprasert was a visiting assistant professor at Vanderbilt University. He regularly joins the Puey Ungphakorn Institute for Economic Research at the Bank of Thailand and Chulalongkorn University in Thailand as visiting fellow. His research has been published in many high-quality journals and has been presented at international conferences.
