What is an Electronic PDF (eTranscript)?

The term eTranscript refers to any transcript delivered to the recipient in an electronic format instead of being printed and mailed to the recipient. MTSU offers the electronic delivery of your transcript as a PDF document. If you choose this option on the TranscriptPlus online order form, it means that your transcript will be created as a PDF document and the intended recipient will be notified by email that it is ready to be downloaded. This method is used when you have selected a school that is participating in the TranscriptsNetwork and is able to receive PDF transcripts electronically or when you have designated an individual or other non-educational institution who is not a participant in the network as the recipient.

Once an order is submitted the email recipient cannot be changed.  Please verify the email recipient is correct before submitting your order.

Things to know:

  • Link to PDF expires 48 hours after it has been initially downloaded (excluding weekends/holidays)
  • The email link cannot be saved or forwarded to another recipient
  • If printed, PRINTED COPY will print across the front of the transcript
  • Modifications are not allowed
  • Copying is not allowed

Is the eTranscript (pdf) an official transcript?

How many transcripts can I order at one time?

You may order up to five transcripts at one time using TranscriptsPlus. They may be all eTranscripts, mailed paper transcripts, or a combination of both. You may order up to five paper transcripts at the MT One Stop.
