Graduate Digital History Curriculum
Hist 7993 Digital History Field School: Hidden Town in 3D This was the Maymester Experience for 2018 and 2021. Eight phd students traveled to North Carolina and collaborated with Old Salem Museums and Gardens on a 3D photogrammetry project to reintroduce the story of Salem's black inhabitants into the museum's interpretation.
Hist 6450/7450 Digital Tools for Historians Introduces the fields of digital history and humanities with a particular focus on how digital history can serve public historians. Explores the standards and methods of the field through the production of a collaborative digital history project.
Undergraduate Digital History Curriculum
Hist 3870 Doing Digital HistoryStudents apply research skills to create an interactive historical map of Downtown Nashville. We will blend traditional research skills with historical GIS and web design in this hands-on upper-division course. Digital natives and novices welcome. See the results of our first project at Bygone Nashville.

On Dec. 2, 2021 HIST 3870 Digital Public History students led a tour of originally-researched stories about Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Visit the web edition to take the tour anytime.
