The StaRT (Statistical Reasoning and Thinking) Project

The StaRT (Statistical Reasoning and Thinking) Project was a yearlong professional development program that helped 7-12 grades Mathematics and Science teachers incorporate statistics-related content in Common Core Standards-based lessons. The project ran from Spring 2012 through Fall 2013. StaRT was sponsored by and offered on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University.  The project was supported by Federal Race to the Top funds administered by The Tennessee Higher Education Commission through the STEM Professional Development program (STEM PD Evaluation Report ).
