Highlights

Director, writer, and editor Wes Edwards has directed 150-plus music videos and commercials for household names like Amazon and Pepsi. He has earned a shelf full of awards and has collaborated with repeat partners. Notably, he has won two Country Music Association awards, two Academy of Country Music awards, a Country Music Television award, and a Gospel Music Association Video of the Year award. Additionally, he has two videos listed in Billboard's best 100 videos of the decade (2010–2019) across all genres.

Edwards is also a self-taught After Effects artist, showcasing a portfolio that ranges from hyper-stylized to grittier, documentary aesthetics. In 2019, he co-founded the production company Strange Arcade, where he serves as executive producer alongside his partner, Angie Lorenz. In 2022, Edwards directed "American Anthems," a six-part music documentary series for PBS that celebrated unsung heroes through original songs by top artists. The show garnered four Emmy nominations, including one for directing. Edwards graduated from MTSU in 2001 with a degree in Mass Communication, focusing on Radio and Television.
