School of Music
Music Admissions
An audition is required for admission into the School of Music as a music major, music minor, or to take private lessons as a non-music major. The audition also determines music scholarship awards, with priority consideration given for auditions completed by March 1. Students wanting to audition for Fall 2025 admission to the School of Music should follow the steps below. Please contact Angela Satterfield at 615-898-2469 or askmusic@mtsu.edu if you have questions.
