DePriest named to 2021 C-USA All-Academic First Team

Murfreesboro, Tenn. – Senior forward Peyton DePriest was recognized as a 2021 Conference USA All-Academic Team selection for the fourth-straight season. Marking the third time she was named as a first-team selection.

DePriest produced a record breaking 2021 campaign that saw her score 11 goals through 17 regular season games. She broke the C-USA all-time record for goals scored and currently sits at 57 career goals, which currently leads the NCAA for active players at the D-I level. She also broke the C-USA all-time career points record and currently has 125 points over her prolific five-year career.

DePriest leads C-USA in goals (11), points (26), shots (75), and shots on goal (38), goals per game (.65), points per game (1.53), shots per game (4.41), and shots on goal per game (2.24). Nationally, DePriest ranks 10thin shots per game, 17thin shots on goal per game, 26thin total goals, 37thin total points, 38thin goals per game, and 47thin points per game.

In the classroom, DePriest continues to impress as she graduated with her undergraduate degree this past fall, producing a 3.94 GPA and graduating with an exercise science degree. DePriest is currently working on her Master of Science in leisure, sport, and tourism management with a specialization in sport industry and currently holds a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Her all-academic team nod adds to the Franklin, Tennessee native's illustrious career as she is a two-time C-USA Offensive Player of the Year, a one-time C-USA Player of the Year, C-USA Freshman of the Year, as well as being named a 2019 United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American. She is a three-time C-USA All-Conference First Team selection, as well as being named C-USA All-Conference Second Team once.
