Homecoming 2020 information coming this fall.
Homecoming is sure to be a great time, and with the help of the student body, faculty and staff, alumni, and community, we can make this the best homecoming that MTSU has ever seen, though we can’t do this without you! We are looking forward to the hard work that each of our campus organizations and community members put in each year, and hope that this year is even better than the past.

Official Homecoming Registration Forms
MTSU Homecoming Parade
The Homecoming parade is one of the longest standing traditions of Middle Tennessee State University. It is the best way to unite and feature the community of students, alumni and local residents. Anyone has the opportunity to be recognized by walking in the parade or building a float. For those interested in participating in the parade, please complete the entry form. All details regarding the parade can be found in the MTSU Homecoming Rule Book
Homecoming Sign Competition
We are going to decorate the campus with the annual sign competition. Each group will decorate a piece of plywood and it will be placed on campus for everyone to see. We will leave the signs up for game day. This is a great and easy way to participate in homecoming and not break the bank! Show your school spirit and make a design!
Paint the Halls or Doors Blue
The MTSU Homecoming’s Paint Campus Blue will promote Blue Raider Pride and school unity. All departments, facilities, and housing on campus are strongly encouraged to participate in this competitive event.
Chili and Mac & Cheese Cookoff
NEW this year, we have added a Mac & Cheese competition. The Homecoming Chili and Mac & Cheese Cook-Off will be held at Floyd Stadium on Wednesday, October 23rd at 6:00 PM and ending at 8:00 PM. We are going to have three different divisions: Community, student organization, and alumni & friends. We welcome anyone to enter their secret family recipe and compete for Lightning's Ladle. All funds raised will benefit the MTSU Habitat Build.
Homecoming Pumpkin Wars
NEW EVENT!! Student Organizations, Residence Halls, or friends can enter the new Homecoming Pumpkin Wars. Students will create a pumpkin using the Homecoming Theme and carve, paint, etc. their pumpkin. All completed pumpkins will be judged and with a portion of the score to include a penny war.
