Purchase and implement Tableau server with 50 copies of server software for classes in the Business Intelligence and Analytics concentration for the Master of Science in Information Systems which started in Fall 2015. The server software will be installed and maintained within the department in room S363, where we currently house a network server. This will be used specifically for the design, development and deployment of business intelligence solutions on an industry standard platform. Courses that will use this software include BIA6910, BIA6920, INFS6810. Currently, we can only teach the design portion for desktop applications in these courses.
