This proposal is for a master classroom -KOM 205, to be used primarily by undergraduate actuarial science, business engineering, and statistics students. Industry expects entry-level business engineering and actuarial science employees to be able to construct and deliver quality presentation. With increasing use of statistics software packages in statistics courses it is becoming more essential that applied statistics courses meet in a master classroom. With the transformation of KOM 205 into a master classroom, we intend to expose actuarial science, business engineering, and statistics students to computer-generated presentations, with the possibility of a required presentation in the upper-division courses, as well as to increase the use of software packages in statistics classes.
