The James E. Walker Library at MTSU is the intellectual center for MTSU students and is a reflection of the University's commitment to education and research. Walker Library is the largest open computer lab on campus. We have over 400 computers available for student use (mostly purchased by TAF). The machines in our group study rooms and a group of machines on the 2nd floor will be over 7 years old by the time this funding is available. They are long out of warranty, slow and subject to frequent breakdown. We would like to replace them. The replacement machines will be Intel NUCS, which are fast and reliable (no moving parts at all). Thank you for considering this project.
