Project Description

The Chemistry Department seeks a new gas chromatograph/mass spectrometer to supplement the one such instrument we already have. The existing instrument is a workhorse, being used in CHEM 4230/4231 , FSCH 4230/4231, and CHEM 6230/6231 as well as in CHEM 2880, 3880, and 4880. Total enrollments and student usage for these courses is 30-45 per year plus another 8-12 M.S. students in 9 faculty research groups doing CHEM 6640 thesis research.
