Project Description This proposal adds critical hardware to support our Database and Big Data courses. In order for our Masters in Information Systems program to grow we need this hardware. If this proposal is funded we would be able to offer multiple sections of our database courses that are currently capped due to technical constraints. In these courses students get hands on access and use tools in a virtual environment. This is a tremendously benefit to our students once they enter the job market. We would also be able to offer online sections of our database courses. This proposal would allow for growth and online development which are two components of the new Quest for Student Success. The students benefiting from this proposal would be those registered for INFS 4790, INFS 5790, INFS 6790, and INFS 6810. This proposal would impact 355 students each academic year. This proposal would also allow us to expand the content covered in most of the courses listed to ensure our students are getting educated and trained with the most current tools and technology.
