The James E. Walker Library at MTSU is the intellectual center for MTSU students and is a reflection of the University's commitment to education and research. Walker Library is the largest open computer lab on campus. We have over 400 computers available for student use (mostly purchased by TAF). We would like to replace some of the laptops which we check out for student use; they are old and out of warranty. We would like to purchase two high end computers to add to our Makerspace area in order to give students more machines for use with computer aided design (CAD), high end multimedia applications, and mixed reality viewing and software development. We are requesting five high definition video magnifiers along with trackballs to improve our aging adaptive workstations for students with special needs. Thank you for considering this project.
